Just beyond the main marble foyer is the Olympian Ballroom. The central open floor is bounded by 12 Corinthian columns reaching 25 feet to the ceiling. A 20-foot mezzanine wraps the room's perimeter. The ballroom can comfortably accommodate 900 people seated for dinner. Adjacent to the ballroom are the Main Lobby and Oak Room, each or both of which are available to complement larger events.

In the Large Theater an unusual arena-style floor sits below 950 seats rising up from it. Its professional theater-size stage, sound system, and stage lighting make this room nicely adaptable for business meetings, special events and social functions.

The original 1889 theater of the Scottish Rite features balcony seating, rich carpeting and a 25-foot stage. Four unique chandeliers complement the natural lighting from two tiers of south windows. Grand turn-of-the-century style theater seating for 100 to 400.

The Oak room is ideal for receptions and small parties for 100 to 300 people. This handsome oak-paneled room has four large southern windows trimmed with green velvet drapes. There are three interior fluted columns, which rise 14 feet to the ornately painted ceiling. The Oak Room is adjacent to the Olympian Ballroom and the Lobby, serving well as a complement to each.

One of the jewels of the Athenaeum, the Priory is a perfect room for weddings, musical recitals, or any special occasion that demands an intimate and unusual setting. The Priory's interior buttresses, vaulted ceiling, faux-marble walls, and mosaic depictions of scenes from the Crusades give a medieval feel to this former sanctum of the Knights Templar. Hold your event in this 12th-century chapel.

The Corinthian room has light coffee colored walls, with a warm cream and gold colored ceiling and eight stained glass chandeliers. There are four large windows draped in blue velvet and a 9 foot stage. This room is adjacent to the Spartan and is ideal for classoom seating up to 75.

The Athenian room has light camel colored walls, with multi-color-coffered ceiling and unique pendant chandeliers. There are seven large windows with full 16' velvet draperies. The carpet is deep navy floral and the drapes are crimson. This room is adjacent to the Macedonian room and it also coordinates well with any room on the second floor south wing.

The Macedonian room is painted in a lavish Egyptain motif with 3 large art deco chandeliers and a 10' stage. The interior room without windows has the feel of an "inner sanctum". A shared central foyer allows this room to coordinate well with the Athenian, Corinthian and Spartan rooms.

The Spartan room is one of four rooms on the second floor of the south wing. This room is adjacent to the Corinthian room and it also coordinates well with the Macedonian and Athenian rooms. The walls of the Spartan Room are painted a warm peach, and the coffered ceiling is cream with gold accents. The navy blue carpet with Greek Key border complements this lovely room. A 9' stage is found at the head of the room, which is ideal for classroom seating up to 75.

The Hellenic room, located on the second floor, north wing, has fifteen windows looking North. The room is painted a warm yellow with cream trim. The large windows are lavishly draped in gold and the carpet has a green, gold, blue and white floral pattern. This room is adjacent to a large marble foyer that is ideal for receptions or registrations.
